Description A Tactical Transporter called the Achilles had participated in both the cold war and the Vietnam war. The purpose of designing this particular aircraft is to give out long range supply runs for it's allies. Giving them essential supplies to further increase the strength of the allies against the enemies. This aircraft can also perform ground support runs using three of it's twin 25mm cannons along its sides on the rear of the fuselage and on the bottom of the fuselage as well. The aircraft is equipped with three twin 25mm cannons giving out supporting fire for allies below. And to further increase the aircraft's survivability they fitted the bottom of the fuselage along with it's wings lightweight armor. To protect the aircraft from flak damage. And can also withstand RPG fire, but the twin cannons which are remote controlled can counter them. It is most effective it is flown at medium-to-low altitudes, which increases it's camo capabilities and which protects it from MIGs. The aircraft is in fact fast but not fast enough to outrun an enemy jet fighter.

Name: ATMES-2G Achilles
Type: Tactical Transporter (with ground-support capabilites)
Powerplant(s): 4x 1,800hp Turboprop engines
Maximum Speed: 403mph at 13,310ft
Service Ceiling: 34,124ft
Range: 2,975miles
Avionics: Long-range target finder, two twin remote controlled turrets, long-range communications systems, advanced radar head, counter measure systems, and warning systems.
Armament: 3x twin 25mm cannons (fitted inside a remote controlled turret)

History: During in the course of the war, the Ministry needed a Tactical Transporter, that can resupply the allies by either dropping while still in flight, landing in a friendly base, and last but not least airdrop it at low altitudes, and to have outstanding speed and maneuverability to make haste for their escape against enemy fire. The development company that had created the ATMES series had once again joined the competition submitting their own design quite inspired by the Hercules and other transport aircraft that had participated in the war. What made the win of the competition is how they have fitted the aircraft with lightweight armor to further withstand the enemy fire even while dropping supplies in the middle of the war zone. Along with twin 25mm cannons for ground support. But to increase the safety of the crew inside the cargo hold area, they've set up a remote controlled volley system, so the crew won't have to expose themselves when dropping supplies in the middle of the war zone and well... enemy fire. The aircraft started development in the year 1958. And two prototypes were built in the year 1960. Both were extensively tested and had been quite successful. The aircraft entered service in the MAF, The Mighty Air Force. In the year 1961. The aircraft took part in many campaigns. Mostly seen airdropping supplies for the troops on the valley of death. Some of them are used as ground support when needed. But some were lost due to enemy jet fighter attacks. But throughout it's service from 1961-1999, it proved very worthy. And so the final Achilles aircraft had retired in the year 2000. A total of 4,000 of these airplanes were built during the war.

Hope ya'll like this design! The detailing the lines and the wings was bit inspired by EddieKenz's aircraft designs...
Credit for the re-design idea -> GunnerGoat ! Thanks buddy! you really helped me out there!

You might want to move the wings to the top. Instead of pushing the wings which has a higher chance of breaking, why do you pull it? Less chance of structural failure.

Hmmm very true. And plus I this means I could finally add another twin 25mm cannons on the bottom of the fuselage!
