Aww thanks. I think by the time I'm done with my course I'll be a little more proficient in using the paint but right now alot of it is only trial and error. I think the subject matter of vinatge inspired tattoo art is pretty forgiving. When the colours tend to get a little muddy and brown I can still work with them. I'm trying to do it as often now, but it kinda works out in its own way.

Glad you like it. I dunno the more I'm looking at it, there are things I don't like, it seems a little washed out to me, but the design I'm happy with. Its funny I got a couple comments and people seem to either love the leg on the handle or hate it I dunno, I like it...its just to cheesey to take away!

I actually just finished a piece, I'm really happy with it but I'm not sure if its something he would like.....but I guess thats part of the mission, to find out. I stayed away from the clown idea though everyone is doing it. ((I think you'll like it !!!)) I may not post it right away though, I put alot of thought into it and I don't want anyone out thre biting the idea right away. I will have the finished version of my peacock piece up this weekend. I'll also have a skull still life I've done in water colour up, but that will be next week.

I'm really enjoying it actually, but sometimes I get real frustrated trying to mix the colours I need. The one I just finished I integrated some pencil crayon in, and it worked well for me.

Yeah I find getting stuck into 1 medium usually messes me about. Best to throw everything in and see what works best.

Thanks, I think I would have liked the colours to be a little cleaner, but in the end it kinda gave it and aged look so I think it was appropriate to just leave it alone.
