Coming up with the design of her was a little difficult, because I would observe osy057's character designs, and then try to get some inspiration from it. Then, I would grab subtle ideas from Kishimoto's comics. It was a little difficult, but I do like how this turned out. ^^

Edit: the thing on the left side of her body is the sheath to her dagger, and a small bag. I was thinking of having her summon a Ram type animal to aid her in battle, but not so sure on the idea.

About her personality: she falls in love easily and occasionally daydreams perverted thoughts involving the person she likes. She's conceited and somewhat self-conscious, however she can be persistent in battle, and her love interest.

BIOGRAPHY:
She was born into the noble Matsuo clan, well-known for their wealth and bloodline. However, the only ones born with the bloodline were male. The clan was also notorious for being sexist against the women of the clan. So Nana, the daughter of the main head of the family, is not trained as a ninja, instead is being used to be married off to another noble clan for more wealth and status in the village. Despite all this, she tries to keep a tough front, but is deeply resented towards everyone besides her cousin. His name is Takashi and he would secretly train her in the family's dojo, and he also treated her equally with himself. They became good friends, but then slowly she realized strange feelings towards him, however it didn't concern her. Her parents would try to marry her off many times, but she would reject each one because only one mattered to her and it was Takashi.
When she was about fifteen, her parents written off marriage papers and were going to force her into a marriage, whether or not she liked it. That same evening after finding out, she confessed to Takashi and he was dumbfounded, but reluctantly rejected her confession and called her disgusting for even thinking that way. Her family was raised to think that incestuous relations were a taboo and so this disturbed him. She stopped meeting with him in the late evenings at the dojo and regretted mentioning anything of it to him. With that, she ran away; her reasons were because she hated the forced matchmaking's thrown at her, the fact the everyone was sexist, her cousin for humiliating her, and the fact that her mother gave birth to another daughter. All these reasons helped her not regret leaving her clan, despite that all the troubles dumped on her would affect her younger sister didn't concern her because of her conceited personality. She becomes an ex-member of the clan, even though it could probably affect her later in life.
