His original regiment, the 4th Velukian Highlanders was disbanded after sustaining extreme losses during the Battle of Herrisor Flats.

The protective father, he cares for his squad like they were his own kids, despite being near the same age as his corporal. He has unofficially adopted three orphans that he found during their last campaign: Janna, Kersi, and Ferman Yenter.
