Another still life of mine. This was for a college assignment. But I choose to go with Orange and Blue as my choose.

I love the perspective. And mmmm strawberries, I love those things ^^
I once tore apart this sundae looking glass [it was plastic though] with the styrofoam top because there were these strawberry speckled [except purple with green tops] candies inside and I really, really wanted candy. Except the candy was all sticky because it'd been in there for a couple of years but it smelt like grape but I didn't dare taste it, in case I got sick or something.... *sigh*
So unfortunately I tore it open and got nothing out of it..that was a couple of months ago, I don't think my mom found it yet....Ohohohoh that won't be very good when she does...... I did nothing *nods* It waaaasn't me...
Anywho! Back to this! I love the lighting here as well, it gives the cute little strawberries a nice little shine and brings out the detail of their seeds more as well. I like how they're all arranged too and the bowl itself looks small but pretty.
I like that the background is of a tan coloration, since it also helps to bring out the strawberries color.
The only thing I'd say is be careful with the white borders. Sometimes they can really break or make an image and for this one I think it just slides by, but if there was more white in it, you'd probably be safer with either a black [but say, if it was with the strawberries, go for a lighter black] or a lighter toned but still dark color.
I still really like it though!

As for the white border; I agree; i was aiming for keeping in the red; It felt without a border that the color was loosing balance; and the border kept it in. U know? I wanted to contain the berries. ^_^ As a photographer I dont know how to explain that

I like your depth of field on this, you also had a really strong directional light that didn't diminish the shot. Nicely done!
