This is the accompanying piece to my Apple family portrait ! Actually being a portrait in itself, I did want to include Pear Butter and Bright Mac in the main piece in some way, but not as ghosts or something. I like the idea of the Apples taking pictures of themselves in the same place of the house, maybe once every decade or so. Shows the progress of the family. And both of them holding their first foal would definitely be a worthy occasion!
If you ask me why Granny isn't there... who knows? Maybe she took the picture. And to be honest, I wanted the focus to be solely on Buttercup and Bright Mac here.

I don't think we will ever learn what happened to them, and I don't think we have to. They're gone, and if the way the Apple siblings are talking about them is any indication, they have got very fond memories of their parents. That's enough for me
