I think the hands are very well drawn, but should be bigger. Especially in the pose you've drawn, hands can almost be as expressive as the face, so don't hesitate to exaggerate them a little!

well, for starters, the arm up would be bigger. The elbow would reach just about the top of the head. and the forearm just about the same length as the arm if not bigger. The hands should be bigger. And if this is not manga or anime, the head should be smaller.

it's not bad but it might be nice to see what it would look like colored. by the way I couldn't figure out what exactly it was, talk about androgynous!

hahahaha, colorings not that hard, find a medium that you are interested in then practice with in until you like it then work with mixing mediums. trust me it comes rather quickly.

there is always corel painter, it simulates multiple mediums ranging from paint to ink.

I want to get it too but I think I need to get a new computer before that, have you considered looking on ebay, I've heard that it's sold really cheap on there.
