Wow! What a difference of eight years-worth of experience can do! I'd never guess they were by the same person!
Chikky looks perfect! The translucent nature of the ball is eye-catching, too. I have to say, though, the background is my favorite part - I like the way the trees are shrouded in the fog, and how it's whiter at the bottom and more colored-in at the top. It's very cool depth-perception.
This one's my favorite of yours, hands-down. Keep up the good work!
Although this redux version is great, the original has a certain charm to it, too, if only as a representation of where you are as an artist today. Is that the first pokemon you've ever drawn for deviantart?
