Description The rider drew closer to my murky domain
And as I peered, I saw his bold determination

No matter for his folly, thought I:
Soon his blood would run cold, and madness would strike

As I brooded upon this, he came nearer
The veil thickening around his stallion

I waited for him, the darkness wrapped around me like a cloak
I felt all things in the shifting mist, and I perceived all

Now the time was ripe;
Without warning, I swiftly launched myself upon him

I smote him right on his soul
And trickled into his horse's

As comprehension struck him
His horse reared, blood red terror in its eyes

My vicelike grip constricted, and though he struggled
He could not escape me, not in my realm

Behind his forged fury and grim manner
Was a growing panic, fighting its way free

When he could subdue it no longer
His limbs I possessed, his will shattered

And his blade sang as it rid itself of its scabbard
And pierced the horse's flesh, followed by its master's

And suddenly, it was over
Silence reverberated amidst the land once more
