A chilly winter day as a kayaker kayaks by on his kayak, kayaking quite slowly but steadily.

It also began to rain slowly, and I wasn't feeling too well. My legs ached from crouching down, head ached from the cold as in cold virus, and fingers ached from the cold as in freezing cold.

The light rain... caused my lens to get wet. To make it worse, I left my ND filter out while fiddling with the composition. It got wet, naturally. I tried drying it, but dripped mucus onto it. Double ugh. Finally, I was able to get it decently dry, but the long exposures still sucked. Even the B&W high-key look I was going for. So I stuck with this one I took without the ND filter and slightly blurred the water in Photoshop.

Still, it was a beautiful, serene, mystical atmosphere that I was happy to be part of. (Until I started shivering more than I was dripping mucus.)
