The flower brothers together!

Perennia and Asagao are twins. They were both formed from natural energies in a hidden garden in the Yo-kai World. They acted as the guardians of the garden for many years together. One day, Mousso managed to find the garden by accident, and this is how he met Perennia. While it was awkward at first, Perennia and Mousso managed to become friends, and Perennia decided to leave the garden to travel the human world with Mousso.

Asagao isn’t as trusting of others as Perennia, and as such didn’t exactly like this. However, he accepted his brother’s decision, and continues to act as the guardian of the hidden garden. Although Perennia enjoys being in the human world, he misses his brother greatly, and the same goes for Asagao.

They both share the trait of almost never speaking aloud, and this stems from the fact that the only beings they had contact with for most of their lives was each other. They have the ability to communicate with each other telepathically, and thus there was never any real need for actual speaking.
