Description
A watercolor exercise using a combination of sumi-e and Western watercolor techniques.She is the chestnut appy first drawn in the collection of "Cat's Kittens" [link] . I sort of mutated her into a palomino here, I figured the paladin who rides her wouldn't mind.
He named her Glory and she certainly is a good sparkly mount for a holy knight. She is not a heavy charger as much as a courser with enough bone to carry a knight in armor. Think Trakehner in terms of body type, although my instructor's Dutch Warmblood/Saddlebred cross mare would be perfect.

Very nice! I love how fluid the pose is, like i can see her continuing to trot...and I love that tail. Beautiful!
I used to make ATCs a number of years ago...an art teacher introduced our class to them. Used to be the highlight of our day...i wonder if I can still find any.
