Very well done piece, very emotional and deep. The look on the child's face is striking as they go deeper and deeper into (An assumed?) greater levels of fear and terror.

"Emily was a girl I knew at school. Well, she was more thne just a girl I knew, she was my first crush. There was a dance coming up soon, an after a few days i finally asked Emily to go with me. My heart raced a million miles an hour. She was everything I could as in a girl, I knew I loved her even though my parents told me it was "puppy love". After a few minuets she answered. "No, i'm sorry. My mother told me I can't date anyone till I'm older." Then she ran off to meet another boy only a couple yards away from me. How could she do that? I loved her! Just then I noticed the other girls around me giggling. Why?! Then they taunted me, saying I could never have a girlfriend! Saying that I was a freak because I got stright A's! Then the pricipal called me to her office. My mother was there. They both accused me of being a cheater and liar because I could never be as smart as I acted. Why do girls always do this to me! Why are girls so mean! I thought as my mother signed a form that said she wanted me held back in this grade school for another year. No! I couldnt take this school..all its girls.. the pricipal the kids the lunch lady..all of them hated him, and it was begining to affect the boys too! I had to end this, no. So I asked to go to the rest room. And I went instead to the janitors closet which SHE always kept open and grabbed a knife she used for cutting string. First I went outside, and left Emily know how I felt. Then I cut her..right across the neck. It felt so good because she could no longer hurt me.I kept doing it to all the woman, and the last was Mother. Before she died she said she loved me and cried blood. What did I do!? A tear fell from my eye. I could have kept her alive..or maybe..she is alive! I sat beside her and gave her a hug, I could feel her flood so warm on my legs. So would be alive for ever. I even heard her say. "Tommy, I believe you, its ok. I love you." And she does only now."

I feel like crying for and with the child. So much emotions are funning through me, and I can't keep up with them to even name them. The style, the expressions .. they are so powerful. very powerful. I have been looking around your gallery, and some of the pictures move me to the point of tears. I love it. you are amazing in give those characters expressions that flow into others when they look at the pictures you drew... I think I shall fav. and watch, if you don't mind ^_^

Such a simplistic peice for such a complicated concept ... it makes for a very interesting contrast. I like that you didn't do the typical dark color sceme to communicate the negative emotions. I think that helps allow it all to come through in his face. Excelent work!

I know that this is inappropriate, but I laughed when I saw the 'single, shining' tear, going down the little boy's face. Okay, not laughed, but kind of internally giggled... I'm horrible, I know.
