I apologize if it's not to your liking. I know a lot of cosplayers are sticklers for exact replications and detail, but I love taking creative liberty and inspiration, especially from fan arts and that's how this outfit came to be. =] I'm quite happy with it.

there's a difference between creative liberty and pulling things out of your closet. this looks like you just pinned up the bottom layer of a purple lolita dress and tucked in the sleeves. i understand creative liberty, but you're making excuses for consciously cutting corners.
it really makes no difference to me, but if you're going to take the lazy way out, you should own up to it instead of making excuses. peace out.

Well, I don't know how to sew and am just now in the process of learning how to make things - starting small and when I get better, hopefully moving onto full outfits.
I'm not really sure why you're getting so anal about this, since cosplay is supposed to be about fun and I had a lot of fun in this costume, but I really do suggest getting off your high horse and stop putting down other cosplayers for their costumes. Your costumes are gorgeous and I would have looked up to you as inspiration if you didn't have such an ugly side of bullying cosplayers that don't live up to your standards around. =\
