Thank you, sir!  Yeah, I generally go for a Soviet propaganda look for the posters, but this one seems to look a bit more like a 1930s French advertising poster.  Gotta loosen up a bit to keep it fun, right? Oh, yes!  I'm only about half way through the whole story, actually.  I probably should have made the story a bit simpler, since I'm just working on it in my free time, but I had so many ideas it kind of ballooned out.

Wow, you're only halfway? Sounds like quite the project. I hope you keep at it though! It's fun to balloon with ideas once you get a lot that you like. Still been getting more ideas?

Hello, sir!  Sorry for the delay!  February ended up being a much busier month than I expected!

But yeah, the comic's turned into a huge undertaking, but I'm still having a blast with it and learning a lot as I go!  It's also very gratifying to see the story develop more fully as I move along, and people are really digging it!  I'm excited! Luckily, most of the ideas for the story have already been nailed down in the over-arcing story outline, but it's been fun to add little elements here and there as I work on each issue!  I've added a lot of depth to it since its initial concept. Of course I still have like a million other projects I want to get to after this one, so we'll see how that goes, time-wise...

We'll see!  This project is pretty long-term, so I haven't really considered short-term plans. I do really want to devote more time to the Americana story, and possibly explore the idea of making it into an illustrated novel (or novella serial, where I'd release it a chapter at a time, each chapter being like 60 or so pages; kind of like an episodic TV mini-series, but in print).  That'd be really fun to do, but I probably can't devote any real time to it until The Revival's done.  We'll see!  Before that, I'd like to experiment with a new illustration style for the Americana drawings--maybe something more like Norman Rockwell.  And of course there's always more Creepazoids to work on!  I still want to get as many sets of those done as I can while I work on The Revival.  I also want to get my own personal portfolio site revamped, which I've been tinkering with for a while.  Hopefully I can get that up sometime this summer!  And who knows?  Maybe I'll try to get a Creepazoids site up as well.

Goodness that's a ton. A Creepazoids site would be pretty fantastic, but between Americana and The Revival, I'd understand that you'd rather focus on the latter two. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you, sir!  Yeah, I've definitely got my work cut out for me, but I'd love to be able to do it all!  I wish there were more hours in the day.

I plan on really buckling down and getting as much work done as I can this summer!  We'll see how it goes!
