I suppose I am somewhat melancholoy for a past that never existed. Somehow though I lack the drive to wear wierd costumes and embark on a "Steam Punk" ride.

Yeah, I actually find myself liking the "dieselpunk" and art deco styles more than steampunk, although they're all fascinating. But some of the costumes I've seen at conventions are insanely cool! Lots of detail and love go into those things.
