This is my darling puppy. Well, he's not really a puppy since he's 12 years old. His name is Prince and in case you can't tell, he's a sheltie; a shetland sheepdog. Or to the average, uninformed in the area of dog breeds person, he's a miniature collie.Related content

Yeah, dogs are cool. I've had Prince since he was just shy of 8 weeks old. He's 12 now. Getting pretty old, but hopefully he'll be with me for a while yet.

Yeah, time is catching up with him. The boundless energy that he had for the first 10 or 11 years of his life is finally starting to slip as well. But he's still in great health and hopefully will be with me for quite some time yet. Sheltie's are gorgeous dogs. When I got him, I actually wanted a sable one as I used to have a sable Collie named Queen (hence the Prince) as a little girl, but there was too long a wait and I hadn't the patience so I settled for the tri-colour. Once I got him though, I decided that I love this colour even more.

=3 Yes, I know what you mean by the energy bounding away. I've got an 11 year-old Golden Retreiever myself. He's just starting to get grey hair around his eyes and muzzle.
Queen and Prince! Thats very cute. Yes, Shelties are gorgeous. He looks so sweet, I smiled just looking at him. Great shot.
