Description This is a super efficient super light prototype car able to run for more than 300 kilometers with a liter of gasoline!

Ok, now goes the big explanation..

Theres a competition called "Maratona da Eficiencia" (the Brazilian version of Shell Eco Marathon [link] ) where design and engineering students from universities all around Brazil project and build cars to make a race that the winner is whoever go through the longest distance using the fewest fuel. There is 2 categories, combustion engine (gasoline) and electric.

Im part of the team of Mauá university in São Paulo, Im the only designer in the team so i think its ok to say that I made the exterior design of this car, and obviously helped in the manufacturing of it.

This car raced last year, achieved second place with the mark of 333,94 kilometers per liter of gasoline getting around 55km/h on the longest straight.

I wish i had a big and cool 3d render of it, but back on the day I only had time to make the 3d for project purposes, so the biggest thing i can share is a screenshot that you can find here: [link]

This year car is getting awesome, soon enough I´ll upload it here!

Thanks
Its kinda like a crazy-race you know, you see fuel injection systems with a pet bottle as pressurizer bomb, you see bicycle equipments used to break, transmission, etc, its really inspiring to see the solotuions people make
