~Concept~

"What is an Engineer?... well you know what they are, but here in the low levels of the city it means something else. An engineer is someone who works in technology, usually illegal. Some are hackers, some make machines, some make robots, anything that normal engineers cant or refuse to do.
But also...being an engineer means you belong to a family. Every family represented by a different symbol, and once your master (who is like a parent) decides you are ready, you get to tattoo that symbol on yourself. So being an engineer means belonging to a network of connected families. Most of them too disfunctional if you ask me...
OH also it means you will get your eyes removed and changed for artificial ones to avoid ocular detection. It sucks but sometimes you get to pick the color!"-
