I started painting this as a kind of a sketch for an acrylic painting I'm thinking about painting, although the act of painting this image has already pretty much negated the probability of the acrylic painting, because I rarely, if ever, actually plan an acrylic painting (those kind of just happen) and also because I rarely, if ever, paint the same picture twice. So anyway. The moon, and uh, the dude. Those hands are just really really screwed up (how I miss the cancel button!) because the effect I was going for really didn't work. So they suck. And I can't draw men, period. They either look like women, or – more often – space aliens. Haha, the man on the moon. Or... whatever.

Water colour. Size, uh, appx what? 30x20cm. Or so.

Man, those subtle variations of colour really don't look so subtle when this thing has gone through a camera and Photoshop*. :/

*only necessary photoshopping done for cropping purposes and to try to adjust the jpg to look like the original. Honest.
