WOW, this is so old... I haven't thought about that idea in years.

Whoa. If someone ever makes a Pokemon Colosseum sprite hack (although it would be difficult) I would wanna play it. I wish I could play Colosseum though. Nice work.

More like a tile> map, but it's awesome nonetheless.

nice done! do you have it also for 3rd and 4th (DPP style, not HGSS) generation?

Not yet. I don't have the sprites for that yet.

I just got some! It isn't as much as I expected though, so this may still take some time.

Well, maybe no problem, maybe problem.
It doesn't have the pieces for waterfalls, which are always the most tricky to build.
That, and I'm wondering about the accuracy of some of these sprites.

I wished I could help, but I don't work with sprites and so I don't know where to find the rescources

Oh, I didn't expect you would. It's hard to find 2-D sprites for something that's rendered in 3-D.

3rd gen was not quite 3D, but with 4th gen you might be right

MurphyAlter In reply to GoldenMew [2011-02-10 21:31:04 +0000 UTC]
Well, with the 3rd gen, it was 3D in the sense that you could go behind things, but the sprites didn't change based on your relative location to them.

I thought so too, but every time I checked, thinking "okay, this has got to be too bright", I would always look at a picture, and see that the actual city is too bright. (I guess that comes with being in the middle of the desert.)

I assume you meant tiles.
I would have done that, but I couldn't find any complete sprite sheets for the 3rd or 4th generations anywhere. There are a few partial ones, but no complete ones.
In fact, I'm trying to find a complete sprite sheet for the generation four games right now. Do you know anywhere I could find them?

Try who I think has a full Diamond/pearl sheet.
