This is a Commission Piece for War24Angel in Patreon! I wanna thank him for giving me this chance to make something I always wanted to see~Two Badasses, back to back, in a Cold Winter Night.

So to begin with I can immediately tell that the feels I get from this is that its a very serious and grim tone, that even without context of the situation the two are both about to "get down to business".
Proceeding on from the head tilt/eyes from Lucario, that he is feeling a dead serious emotion and perhaps rage as well, as his eyebrows are squinting, looking down at the enemy menacingly.
From looking a Bisharp's right arm on how it is raised and glancing back at his "partner" the menacing Lucario, may be trying to tell him to keep his emotions in check and perhaps not allow these emotions to consume him. The right arm and the eye glance shows that Lucario is getting serious perhaps other emotions and since the "aura" is taking a physical form, Bisharp can feel these same emotions that Lucario is feeling.
To quickly define as to what aura is:
----The distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place---
The unknown enemy is clearly mad and or upset due to perhaps others being in their territory(Slant in the eyes shows this clearly).
Moving away from the theme or idea of the work, I want to say that this is an absolutely beautiful work I personally feel that this is perhaps your best work yet, I could really feel a lot of emotion coming from this piece the more I study it, absolutely stupendous. I can clearly see that you wanted to create an image of "two bad-ass" back to back where "shit is about to get real".
Using an unknown enemy rather than something that we are already familiar with really helps set the tone of this, as when faced with something you haven't seen before how do you go about approaching it?
Starting of, I want to talk about the main central image.
With Lucario, I truly did enjoy the emotions that you were trying to envoke into the audience as with his eyes and eyebrows as I mentioned earlier creates a grim, menacing, and serious emotions that I could really feel.
The aura pulsating from Lucario's left side showing of his intensity with what is about to happen, and perhaps Bisharp notices this, and glances over.
Lucario's chest shading really fits well with the light that is bouncing/wavering around in the aura, I notice light patches on the fur showing parts that have been "lighten" up by the aura.
The spike fur near the top of Lucario looks very real, the fur is perhaps going in all directions because perhaps the wind is flowing in all directions or is going in circles around the intensity of the aura.
This light(aura) that is coming of Lucario's paw is maybe the most important part of the piece as the lighting is centered on the aura,n and only the area of where Bisharp and Lucario are standing is illuminated.
Moving to the left to Bisharp we can see that he is a serious manner as well, but not evoking the same emotions as his partner Lucario.
The blade on Bisharps are is glowing red and showing his own "aura", but not in the same manner as Lucario. The glowing red aura most likely signifies "killing intent" and that he is not playing around.
Secondly going back to the main central lighting(aura), as I really do like how the pieces of Bisharp's armor seem to have a shine to them as they seem to glimmer in the dark grim atmosphere. One spot that caught my eye was the shine close to the eye that is glancing back.
The lighting mostly stays in the center as towards Bisharp and Lucario's legs there is less lighting.
One thing I want to point out that others may or may not agree with that, Lucario and Bisharp both seem to be wearing some type of clothing, or battle gear.
My first hint of this is towards Bisharp's arms as they go into a large shoulder blade, then comes back upwards towards the head as if he is wearing a helmet, over his head as it overlays over his head.
Proceeding with the topic of clothes/battle gear Lucario's Pants seem to mesh well, with his body as they have more of a figure to them as they are blowing to them in the snow/wind. Lucario's shoulder blades as well seem to be sometime of protection, and not actually apart of this body.
I really did like how the spike in Lucario's chest seem to come together in unison with his rib cage and is not just there, but is more apart of his body.
Moving away from the central image to the background we have the unknown enemy in dark shadows perhaps signifying that there are many of them, and their glowing eyes really help them stand out, but not take too much away from what the audience's eyes really want to see.
The snow is mounted up in all sizes, perhaps their on a hill or mountain, the difference trenches of where the snow is shows how deep the snow is as well, as running in snow is very difficult to move around which shows how serious the battle is considering the unknown enemy has an advantage to it as it is their territory.
Absolutely gorgeous, I felt a lot of emotion from this, I'm sure you always wanted to do something similar to this, I really enjoyed this piece, I'm not sure how much thought you put into planning this out or if it just came to you, but stupendous job.

I really don't like the shading here. Fur doesn't look like fur and metal doesn't look like metal.
Their expressions also are quite ugly.

This is amazing. I mean your work with anatomy and shadows. Everything here is form following function in ever piece and detail; it really hits an emotional note of: Lets Fucking do this! (Sorry for the French). I mean look at those expressions. They look like they are just going to clean house. The focal point is the Lucario first and foremost, then your eyes wander to Bisharp; then the threats around them. Its detail within detail, complete eye candy I am at a loss for words. Look at that the Lucario seriously; the shading on him is amazing, light coming from the aura sphere. The detail on his fur and everything. Plus look at that expression he is pissed. Oddly though I will admit the Lucario looks more human in terms of anatomy which in truth makes sense, as they fall in the human egg group and stuff. He is ripped like hell, a buff yet lanky build. In contrast to Bisharp whom next to him looks like a twig (I joke). My only gripe is the chest spike my be a bit too long but its a small detail. This is perfect, and should be on a game cover. Nintendo, Hire this artist. I tweeted your artwork and linked it back, you deserve the recognition.
