I think you've achieved the hugeness feel, although as someone has said before, perhaps a different angle would have had a better impact? Either way, you've still done a great job!

Oh wow, this is really cool. It's obvious you put a lot of time into this (and if you didn't I'm very surprised). The detail on this is just amazing. Great work!

Wow, this is also really cool. It is wierd though. Because the creature has such detail, then the rest lacks in the detail. Maybe you wanted focus to center on the creature. Again, to be completely honest, i do not know much about this. I still love it. The detail, like the reflection in the metal and flames are spectacular. I am impressed.

That thing looks crazy, like it might fit in a fantasy world, and be some kind of doomsday machine that would be a final boss or something. I love the effects you did on the flame wings that looks really cool!

As for making it look like its huge, or getting the hugeness to come across, I think you're close but not quite right. It would probably help if you were to get it from a lower, closer prospective, so you're looking up at it. A worm's eye view, one might say.
Still, really neat piece. The colors are awesome.

I have a similar opinion as them. It does look pretty large, but... something about the composition compromised how massive it looked. When I first looked at the image, I saw the large, mountainous hills as the edges of a cliff, and I was looking slightly up at the big guy. That made him seem considerably smaller. If you adjusted the angle to emphasize his massiveness (I agree, from above would be better) then I think that would completely solve the issue. When I downloaded the full version, before I scrolled down to get the rest of the image, he looked bigger than I had previously perceived--but upon scrolling down and seeing the terrain in the image, he once again seemed dwarfed.
(He himself looks really impressive, I must say. Even smaller than he was supposed to appear, I'd be scared out of my wits. XD)

I agree with Snapperz, if you put it at an angle where it seems like you're looking up at it, it would seem a lot bigger. You definitely have the huge, ominous, impending destruction vibe going, but that would crank it up a bit.
(Just noticed that the background is nifty too, even if it isn't relevant to the finished piece. Also, if I might ask without sounding silly, what exactly is it? And what's it going to do with those giant flaming appendages?)

very nice, the terrain needs work it seems as if it was rushed, using pre-rendered or real terrain could help, see people's stock accounts

reminds me of Final Fantasy IX's alexander summon mixed with the flaming dragon-ness of Ifrit and Bahamut
