"That's a nice hand you got there, Captain... would be a shame.... if something... happened to it..." - Peter Pan probably, the little shitPeter Pan is no hero. He can be heroic when prompted, but he's about as far from virtuous as you can get. He's selfish, arrogant and he rarely takes other people's safety into consideration. I might go as far to say he doesn't really care about anyone but himself. The character was originally coneived as the villain of the story, in fact, and considering that I'd say Barrie didn't change much about his character in the end. The story stresses the callousness of innocence. However you want to look at it, you have to admit it's pretty weird that Peter Pan cut Captain Hook's hand off and thought it would be funny to throw it to a waiting crocodile. Just sayin'.
Anyway, I haven't drawn Peter in ages and since Halloween is just around the corner, thought I'd draw something that fit the holiday.

Yeah, Peter is definitely a mercurial wild child with no true morals, though his rugged innocence is quite interesting, even if it's sometimes dangerous.
I liked the untamed expression you gave to Peter. I just wish that you showed Tinkerbell's actual body; I've liked your past drawings of Tink, so I'd be interested what she would look like now.
On a related note, are you ever going to continue that Peter Pan comic you were working on? It was really cool!

This is such a wonderful conception of him. I always try to force myself to see him at the appropriate age but like many illustrated books, I have that way-too-young version always popping in my head. I like his expression a lot, feel like you really captured the character. Ah, the moment before tossing that hand to the crocodile!~
The drawing itself is just fabulous, though. I love all the details, his childish yet athletic build. Even the blood is well done, I really like this, everything about it. I really like the body language too. Its really expressive and fits well with his attitude about the situation

honestly that's the 'oldest' I've probably ever drawn him. I usually put him at like 10ish but here's more like 12 or 13, but I was just trying to give him a lankier, creepier appearance for the sake of the picture. :3 (also... I wasn't expecting to color this one or anything I was just sketching so I was getting a little weird with the design...
