I actually started this picture forever ago, nearly finished it, and then promptly forgot about it. I finally got around to finishing it, so here you go. :3Fanart of my Makoharu Siren AU fic 'Erotomania'. I'm still working on it's sequel, 'Limerence'.

Does the siren have a wound in it's side (lower body)?

Nope! That's one of his feeding filters, a very thin membrane that filters nutrients from water when Sirens are sleeping or otherwise inactive. It helps keep their metabolism strong and aids in fast healing. At the base it looks very pink/reddish, though. :3
