Actually, blue roses do exist, but their coloring isn't natural. Sometimes lavender roses are referred to as blue roses, even. Blue roses stand for mystery, due to their unnatural color scheme.
I have got to stop looking up flower knowledge in my spare time. It's becoming...useful.
