Sometime during the comic Genesis goes through a bit of a soul searching journey. After she learns that Cameron is a demon and she and Sioux are basically just sentient magic she wonders if she's some kind of demon as well. Seeing how her powers only work at night - like how a lot of demons can only function and survive after sundown. It puts a strain on her relationship with Sage. Mostly just Genesis getting inside her own thoughts - Sage doesn't really care what she is. It's just after learning the truth of her existence it makes her wonder so it leads to a lot of time alone in thought.
