This took a lot of work so fullveiw to catch all the details - specifically Jim's barely noticeable smile. I like their hand placements, especially Jim's. As for the bandage on his right one just assume he hurt himself fixing something.
Brice may be smirking on the outside but inside he is screaming over the fact Jim weighs about 175 pounds and all that weight is right on his junk. Speaking of which - this pose hurts IRL. Lots os stress on the ankles and arms. But it makes for a nice pic.
Things I know I flubbed:
-Jim's neck - it's a bit too long and I realized it's his shirt that makes it look that way. His shirt dips down in the back and from the side it looks off. His whole outfit is a giant artistic liberty I took. His shoes are supposed to be an updated version of these: [link] but it's hard to update pirate clothes without making them too...emo. They ended up looking like a pair of Pumas I saw last week, oops.
-Brice's foot - the one that's folded beneath him.
I just couldn't get it right, I tried. If it looks fine to you then never mind.-The Background - I always fuck it up so I'm not that mad about it. That burgundy thing is supposed to be a desk. If I still don't like it by tomorrow I'll turn it around so it appears they are under it instead of in front of it.

I got some blue makeup from a costume shop, I can't remember what brand it was, but it lasted all day. It was some good stuff.

First of all, boy love is awesome. 
This is really well done. Just a few small things.
Yes, Jim's foot is really messed up. Even in the position given, the heel should be behind the ankle.
Brice's Profile looks very strange. I realize that you're trying to differentiate from Jim's Caucasian profile. That's awesome. There's such beautiful variety in facial structures. But seriously, it doesn't look right the way it's drawn here. I realize you want something flatter, but nose should have more structure to it, that curve just isn't working for what you're trying to do. His profile looks like you took an egg shape, and carved out a notch for the brow and a couple more notches to go under the nose/upper lip and then below the lip, and you need a better skull shape for him.
In BOTH you can see the tiny, tiny almost non-existent forehead and brow and HUGE nose. In both, the nose takes up a large majority of the profile. You might want to work on that.
You worked on the eye thing though, and it looks so much better than when the eye took up the entire space between the front of the profile to the hairline.
I see improvement.

Thanks. It was actually Brice's foot that I was concern about but you're right about Jim's ankle. About the noses, I was trying to stay consistent with the Treasure Planet drawing style. You've seen it right? Jim's profile is ALL nose. As for Brice, yes I wanted his face to be the exact opposite of Jim's sloped in bridge - I like doing that, it's fun

Oh, and as for the forehead.
I think the first thing we all learn in facial anatomy when we're kids is that the eyes run along the center line of the head, and above the eyes and blow the eyes are equal.
Now notice how close to the tops of the head your eyes and brows are. That was what I meant.

Yeah but I've seen the same thing in non-TP stuff. And I think overall less nose in a profile would make your stuff look a little better, especially when you've got that long curve that make the profile look like an egg. Perhaps you should do some real life references rather than animated ones... try some skull and facial anatomy. I think it would help.

I always say before you start an animated style, learn realism. Even if you're stylizing and changing anatomy, you still need to understand WHAT you're changing, ya know?

Yeah, I've actually been practicing overall anatomy lately - I got a little lazy for a while there. Just gotta brush up on heads.

For some reason they all fit into the same genre to me )even though they all sound very different). Louis XIV, yeah yeah yeahs, the sounds, hot hot heat - I think I put them all together because I got them all at the same time.
But while I was drawing/coloring this pic my playlist went: Louis, HHH, YYYs with Y Control being the song that stuck with me while I was finishing. TMI?
