Description This is my LUV, Luxury Utility Vehicle
lol
1998 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, set on a 4x4 lifted platform, painted matte green with a star. Wrap around push gaurd, extra fogs, and custom side exhaust.
This was my actual plans for the old thing, but since it passed inspection (my tail lights weren't working, the mechanic found that it was two blown lightbulbs up front, and a fuse. DUUURRH)
Picture of it how it sits -today-.

The car is amazing, you can't tell me anything else. lol
Sure it ain't no Mercedes, but I float around the mountain fooling people that it is!

1: Having the exhaust directly under the rear door can be a problem for anybody getting into the rear door while the engine is running.

2: I put a star on the door of my car ten years ago and the police gave me a hassle over it.

3: The five lights on the roof can draw significant additional power, make sure your alternator is up to the challenge.

4: I would say something about putting that much work into one of these new tinfoil cars, but custom cars must satisfy the owner first and foremost, so what you like is what you like even if I hate everything made after 1980.

Thanks for the tips!
Lol screw anybody getting in! ...just kidding..

The star was put there kinda like how they have the army vehicles, if I had this car road legal, I'd probably not have a star.

I know anymore lighting on the car, and it might explode.
but yeah, this was basically a "WHAT IF" the car was no longer road legal.

And it's not really "Tin foil" It's on a full body frame, which..doesn't help with wrecks, But I noticed after getting rearended at a stop sign when a toyota 4Runner came 50mph at it.
No damage, not a scratch. The Toyota was crushed.

If it has a real honest to God frame, not just a sub-frame embedded in the uni-body, then all of it's other short comings are fixable. You can turn it into anything your budget and skill set will tolerate.

lol Yeah. Pretty sure.
It's had the same frame pretty much since 1973-1979 when they combined the Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, and Town car onto the same platform

I'll have to keep that in mind, it may come in handy. My experience primarily Mopar. They make some solid engines, but not so solid bodies.

Yeah, I know with some cars, if you'd drop a bigger engine, it'd quite possibly rip the car in half, but I believe mine wont.
Maybe if it had the new Shelby GT-500 5.8 engine in it. lol

I did too, it's a hard choice on what you want the car to be. xD if I did this, I'd have 8mpg. lol

You don't have an alter-ego in car worlds?
I chose an H2 Hummer... Strange choise for a lady, but it suits me in the best way

I do, (: it's not an offroading beast though, I'd be a 05 Mustang GT with a few modifications.
Awesome!

I like it when ladies choose "typically male" cars for their alter-egos
