Description A Father with his children surrounding him
not a single one created to his likeness
But each a part of the same ancestor
Their Mother is time,
sweeping past; gone in an moment
     --but there forever

A daughter of this infinite mother
masked with white
dancing with blue
Her face is never the same
     always changing
Her joy is in her building Cumulonimbus
     drenching below with its power
Her desolation is in an eagles cry
     echoing through the red canyon
Her sorrow is the howl of a lone coyote
never to be joined by others
Her pride is her towering peaks
ancient, but outliving anything that challenges them
Her anger is when the pale face in her sky
burns red like the flesh below it
Her desire is seen when the sky dances
with colours, surrounded by glimmering black

She is Earth
mother to all

No, poor kk never got anything in the paper...the editor didn't put 'em in or something and managed to fit in two of mine and multiples of others as well....

In any case, what I want to say is this: it could just be me talking but I would like to see some punctuation to help with the flow and rhythm. It was fine the way it was (I paused after every line) but I like hyphens and commas and all that good shiz. However, if it will mess up the poem, don't put it in. It's up to you.

I like it.
