One of my characters from a RISD assignment. I had to make a hero character inspired by the art of another culture. I picked Papua New Guinea, with emphasis on the art of tribes along the Sepik River (... Admittedly with the size of that river, that doesn't narrow it down much, but still!).

This was a really fun character to make, and I am planning to feature her, and the accompanying antagonist I designed with her, in one of the short stories for 21 Utopias!
