It was raining when she fell. Her wings were too damp to follow her mother and sister when they left the nest. Instead she slipped, stumbled down the gutter and was left out in the cold. Alone.
An origin prompt for my sweet baby Maple! Before she was transformed, she was a baby robin whose nest was in the rain gutter before she fell and was abandoned. Sad cold wet baby.
