OMFG and i bought manga studio debut just for the fact that i didnt know how to tone in photoshop. My poor wallet. . .

Ha ha, well, I have Manga Studio also~ sometimes I use a combination of the two to make pages ^_^

It actually made manga studio obsolete now. The only thing its good for now is a pen. . .But i still use manga studio mainly because im so lazy with adjusting tone. . .

wait, you were just using Photoshop? To get THAT effect? Now I feel like I've wasted my money buying all those digital tones! XD (but I did get the speedline tones which are nice.)
But this is really helpful, I didn't even think about photoshopping tones- thats half true, I used to photoshop the tones for my webcomic, but your skills are vastly superior, thank you for sharing your tricks!
