Description Feeling a happiness that the program just knew came from speaking to his user, Tron engaged the communications tower, opening a chat with Alan-One.

"Tron to Alan-One," He waited with baited breath, sometimes Alan-One wasn't there, and while he usually didn't bother his user with trivial things, he needed to know where User Flynn had gone to. They were scheduled to begin work on the back up filing system that they had been discussing on his last visit.

"Tron!" The program was sure he was imagining the emotion in his user's voice. There was no way he'd be so relieved to hear from the security program.

Before he could answer, another voice broke in, "TRON! Hey buddy!! I know I'm running late but--"

"FLYNN! Get off of my desk! And get away from my keyboard while you're at it!"

Tron swears he can hear the sounds of a scuffle with Flynn swearing, "Wait, man! I have something to say! Tron, you still there?"

Nodding and then feeling a little foolish, the users can't see him, "Yes, Flynn, I am still listening."

"Awesome! I have a present for you --"

"FLYNN! Get that away from my desk, he can't see it through the damn screen!"

Once again there was the sound of a scuffle. A Present? What was a present?

"No! You're going to break it!" The man was practically wailing. Okay.... so a present is a precious thing...?

Hearing his user sigh, Tron can't help but laugh, it was good to know that the Creator was just as spastic outside of his world.

"Anyways," Think of the devil, "I'm going to be there just as soon as I know for sure your present won't get damaged in transit." He can hear Flynn's smile in his voice.

"Flynn, will you please just get off my desk?"

A chuckle, "See, Alan, all you had to do was ask nicely! Bye Tron!"

There was a pause and as it begins to lengthen uncomfortably, the program begins to wonder if maybe the connection has been terminated, and then Alan-One is back, "What was it you need, Tron? New updates?"

Tron squirms a little, it seemed a little silly now that he had been so worried about Flynn being late, "Alan-One? What's a present."

There's a chuckle, "Well, a present is...." it's obvious he's grasping for words, "When you care about someone, you get them something."

Blinking a little, the program's getting further confused, "What do you mean, something?"

"Like an object." It sounds as if his user is uncomfortable talking about presents.

Tron decides to drop the discussion, trying to think of something else to ask his user, but coming up blank. Quickly wishing Alan-One a good cycle, he terminates the connection.

Aimlessly wandering around, he finds himself at the door to his quarters. Shrugging, he decides to go in, he may as well wait for Flynn somewhere other than the digital arcade.

No matter how he thinks of it, he can't seem to wrap his circuits around the concept of a present. User's were so weird.

There's a loud bang and the program is amazed at the sight of Flynn standing in his doorway, holding a rather large square object. There is some sort of trim all around the object, making it look fancy. It's brown and made of a material he's never seen before. The grinning man in front of him is holding it protectively to his chest.

"Hi, Tron," the man is out of breath, and Tron can't help but sigh, a little irritated at him.

And then he turns the object around, still grinning.

It's beautiful.... he doesn't even know what it is, but it takes his breath away. There's so many colors, reds and oranges, blues and purples. Tron takes a step forward, astounded by the sight before him, "Flynn," he breathes softly, "What is this?"

Flynn's grin widens, even though Tron had thought that was impossible, "It's a painting, Tron. Of the sunset. Do you like it?"

There's a moment of insecurity in the man's voice and the program shakes his head quickly, "I love it, but.... what do I do with it?"

Flynn turns to the wall, sticking his finger to it. When he pulls his finger away the wall follows. Smiling briefly at the program for a second, Flynn puts the painting against the wall and lets go.

With a yelp, Tron leaps forward expecting the beautiful painting to fall. When it stays in place, he stops, staring at the now decorated wall.

"That's what you do with a painting. You hang them up." Flynn claps his hand on Tron's shoulder, and Tron waits only a second before turning to beam at the user.

"It's perfect, Flynn. I love it. Thank you."

There's a long pause as the program tilts his head a little, "Flynn, what's a sunset?"

Awww, so cute! Plus, I can imagine Flynn sitting on Alan's desk like a little kid, talking eagerly to the computer screen.
