Description I am lazy out of principle

Why should I go to school?
Why should I make money?
I've learned that America is not such a free place
Because I have dreams
            —just like the immigrants—
But my dreams are not valid;
                        I don't know not why

My dreams?:
I want to smoke pot in a hamoc!
I want to hunt my dinner
And live in a shanty in a hill
I don't want to pay your property taxes
I mean, who the fuck do you think you are?

But in America, you'll find that
that's quite an unattainable dream
Unattainable almost everywhere!
For you will be quite lonely in your dream;
No one likes the loner

I'm a "loner"
But I'd appreciate some company
Or at least some respect…

Go to school!
Go to college!
Get a degree!
Get a job!
Buy a house!
Have a family!
Fuck that!

What ever happened to life?
Oh… ^that^ is life?
No, that is a long and arduous journy to a myth
Entitled "success"
A 7,000 year old joke
A game you didn't know you were playing

That's why I'm "lazy"!
I don't want to play YOUR game
I think the rules are stupid!
Rule number one: "You must play."
Well that's not very fair
I never got a chance to decide
And that doesn't sound very democratic;
Sounds like there's RAMPANT conformism

When I dream
I am criticized
You tell me "You're a Dreamer"
           and scoff

…WHAT!?
I thought America was the place of dreams!
But I was seven, I was naïve, and you lied

Happy are the deluded, half-baked morons
Dangerous is the dreamer
And I am a dreamer, and that is why I'm "lazy"
Because I don't do YOUR work
