Description [Part #1 in 'Journal' series. [link] ]

"He told me I'd regret leaving. Leaving him there, leaving the place. I told him I wouldn't.. and I believed it too, but sometimes I wonder about what my life would of been like had I stayed. It was comfortable. I loved it that way. He inspired me, showed me a different kind of life. The world was my blank canvas. I could be whoever I wanted to be and no one would ever know that that wasn't who I was. Today the pianst, tomorrow the gypsy - but always myself."

the way i see it is almost as if the person painting were on the wall where the painting was already hanging... as if s/he's trying to paint over what was once there...

i dunno, but great photo (:

I was actually painting over something.. I had sketched a picture there a couple of years ago at a time when I was feeling pretty shit. Then I put the canvas away for ages and ages and never continued it. That day I pulled it out, rubbed out as much as I could and then started painting over it and white paint.. sort of signifies the end of those days.. canvases relaly are our lives.. thanks for the comment!

I have been looking at this shot for a while now actually since you have posted it, so deep and profound truth, sometimes layers even of white no matter how slightly different from each other form the texture of life. We are all blank canvases slowly being filled in by the art of life.

Thankyou for your comment, it truly had beautiful and wisely spoken words . I agre with you.. our lives are just like blank canvases and everything we do through out it is like another stroke added on..

This calls out "starting anew" to me... Life is a canvas, paint what you will...

Nice I saw this shot today on your camera, I thought it was cool and wondered how you got that from your ceiling Did you attach it to your chandelier or something? Hehe, still wondering how you did it, lol.

I really like this whole journal series idea. Maybe it'll give me a little more insight into the girl that is Anna.
