And 4 you're question, yes I sew the fur (that is double layered by the way and sooo heavy lol) with the white material part of the cosplay wich was....not enought lol XD I had trouble last year because of the hoodie I added to it loll.
When you'll do the cosplay think about the fact that the fur will always try to drop off your back so make the other part of your cosplay as solid as possible don't use cheap material!

Oh my gosh!! You did a really really really really awesome job!!! And this is your first cosplay? I couldn't have guessed if I saw you in at a con! Just a quick question though, for you cloak did you sew the fur onto any other material of it is just the fur? I'm planning on cosplaying her as well~ I hope I do at least half as good as you did :>
