This is the original Molly picture. Andy showed me the photo I ref.ed this off of a few months ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. She's the most adorable little girl I've ever seen in my life. So I kidnapped it from him (with his permission and a threat of losing my life if I lost the picture or damaged it) and started drawing it. I kept it for something like two months. ::cringes and feels guilty:: And for the last...oh...three months? I've been telling him he can't see it, XD, because I was making him a surprise. But, this weekend he's visiting them and he wanted to show them, so I give in. Hopefully I'll be able to get up the "surprise" within the next few days or so.

I'm actually really pleased with this picture. I wasn't at first, because it was driving me crazy and I didn't think it looked quite right, but after having sat around for a while, I'm quite happy. I even hairsprayed the page in my sketchbook for fear that it would get messed up. XD Anyway. It was done off of a professional photo, but the cropping's a little different and I didn't like how busy the roses would look in pencil, so it's just a solid background now. Not the most artistic drawing I've ever done, but that's okay.

ANDY --> I totally forgot to tell you on Thursday how insanely proud of you I was after you sang that last song in chapel. You sounded totally amazing! I still can't get over how much you've improved in the last few years since I've known you! I really hope you like the picture, and be sure to check back over the next couple days for the "surprise" lol. I hope you're having a good time with your family.
