When I start with this style of art I like to sketch all of the outlines first, this one if I can remember right took about 45 minutes because of the jacket and then I just fill it all in with a black sharpie.

Haha I know what you mean! I drew Brody Dalle the other day and showed it to my friend and she just goes "Hey...this isn't Gerard." Then she stops and looks all concerned before saying "Are you okay?"
She was just messing with me but I do draw him often

any tips on how to get better @ this type of art?

Uhm... always take your time when doing detail and never try rushing it, make sure to always sketch the drawing in pencil first and I recommend using different sized pens for different areas - fine liners for small details, chisel tip markers for big areas. Oh and don't worry about trying to get it perfect because if you make mistakes, they're easy to cover up with this style of art. Hope that helps, I'm not great at giving tips haha.. (:
