catharsis through destruction.the film presented was removed from an analogue camera following a complete shoot, and was then exposed to direct sunlight. as a result, all images were lost. all memories were lost. faces, places, ceasing to exist in any present manifestation.
1906 being a reference to the great Alois Alzheimer as his work bears considerable significance here.

they were not my images to begin with, but this piece is hanging above my bed: a reminder of remembering, or trying to, or of the uncertainty if everything.

I really liked this. Nice composition and lighting. Its a shame about the lost images but then, it makes the picture a lot nicer.
