For years I've been making the point that comic artists who draw Sonicverse characters inevitably get it wrong if they've made a career out of drawing spandex-and-steroid superheroes instead of furries. The two types have completely different proportions, with furries having shorter limbs and larger heads in relation to the torso.
I like to think that that's what the look on Rouge's face signifies: being treated like a human instead of a furry. The most obvious point is that she's wearing the absolutely wrong size of bra. Her breasts are smooshed into that costume and getting no room to move. And let's admit it, looking at them in profile isn't their best angle. I imagine her shouting "WARDROBE!!"
The situation with her thighs is just as bad. Her thighs as a furry are skinny at the top, taper out a little below the knee and end with rather sizable feet (though with her boots it's hard to say). In this drawing it appears as if the muscles she needs to flap her wings live in her thighs.
Please understand that Rouge is one of my favorite Sonic characters and clearly the sexiest. I also am a huge fan of your XJ-9 erotica. But the two characters are different enough that you need to treat them differently to maximize their respective assets. With XJ-9, the rules of drawing the human nude are applicable in a way that they simply don't apply to Rouge.

Meh, I like it. Nice side boob smoosh. Maby it's cause I don't know much at all about sonic beyond sonic. I like the thighs. Though I can't comment on the "as a furry" part. Damnit I feel like I'm responding to the critique! The critique seems to be angled at doing a furry well, and doing this sonic character well. I'm just lookin at a female character.
