Description Anyone who knows me knows that Bob's Burgers is the only show I watch religiously - funny as hell and heartwarming on many occasions. And because I've been doodling a lot of "Charlie", why not try out the style of "Bob's Burger's"? So you have three of the brats here, Mike, Augustus and Veruca. I really like the expressions on these, but I might scrap and do colored versions later. Charlie and the rest will follow soon!

Since finally watching "Bob's Burgers" on Netflix, I look at this now and picture Linda Belcher's voice coming out of Veruca's mouth hahahaha

I think Kristen Schaal would be a great Violet B. She's energetic enough to play the role, that's for sure haha

I never thought about Violet having the voice of Kristen Schaal but now I can totally see it! I can hear Mike sounding like Logan.

LOVE! I never saw "Bob's Burgers" (Mostly due to not having proper TV and having Netflix instead) but I'm familiar with the art style of the show. For some reason, it suits Charlie and the Chocolate Factory PERFECT! haha Think My fave here is Auggie Looks so cute!

All of seasons 1, 2, and 3 of "Bob's Burgers" is on Netflix, actually. I rejoiced because Adult Swim only runs one episode per week during the summer, so now I have plenty to watch. It's a great show. I agree with you on the art style, but also what some of the characters do remind me of the kids and parents from Charlie. Espeically this clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=feO6dU… The end scene where the boy has fried chicken as a midnight snack and his mom stealing it reminded me of the Gloops for some reason. I can just see Augustus sneaking in some sausage or something like that and, of course, having a back-up. And I also think Auggie came out adorable in this! He's so fun to draw.

I'll have to look into it
Dunno why, but Linda makes me think of Doris Teavee more lol Trying to be a good hostess then getting absolutely LIVID when things don't go her way haha Gene definitely strikes me as being like Augustus in the food department.
And yes, Auggie in all versions can be incredibly fun to draw

My sister and I were actually just talking about Linda and Doris. XD In that episode, Linda tries so hard to be a good hostess for her Bed and Breakfast guests but then no one wants to participate, so she goes crazy. Poor Doris though, would probably have her son interrupting things.  The whole midnight snack thing is totally Augustus, I tried doodling it once or twice. I think Bob reminds me of Mr. Gloop the most - just a man trying to run a good business, disgruntled (in my interpretation of the character) at his wife's doting of their son, who doesn't help around the shop much.

I do enjoy drawing Veruca as well - all that lace and bows and frills.

It's hard to run a business all by yourself, so I think every adult character in both Bob's and Charlie can relate to it in some way haha

Look at these outfits and tell me these aren't things you'd see Veruca wearing: 33.media.tumblr.com/7c0d125acd…

That's true. And also, tolling on someone's memory. It reminds me of this great clip from the show www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqmRkf…

Those outfits are totally Veruca! So pink and frilly, but they look antique. It'd be a perfect design for her if the story was set back a few years.

Probably. Just so busy they forget dates.

Well, regardless, they are very fitting for Veruca.

Girl literally had five IPhones, one in every color. THAT was what she couldn't decide on: the color.

What?! Ugh.

I'm watching the Burton movie right now and I am in love with the detail in all of the Ticket winners' homes. It's amazing~

Tim's set design team is always great with details. They look, often, like real and livable homes.

The Gloop's butcher shop is flawless, I believe. Little signs written in German, and those pig statues! And Veruca's home! I love how it's filled with all of those taxidermy animals and Mike's house just so appropriately knick-knacky.

I think the interior of the Salt mansion was filmed at an actual English estate. Not 100% sure, so don't quote me on that. Mike's house, I honestly never noticed much about it. His mom in the Burton film strikes me as the type to be an obsessive catalog and TV Ad shopper, so their house being full of knick-knacks would make sense.
