Description

I thought it would be a good idea to show what one of Vice's signature attacks is like and how it effects the mind of a host. Also, the near greenish fog like substance are the ghostly remnants of Vice's victims who are misshapen into mist as they suffer in the shadowy flames. The story takes place before the last post I made on Vice;

Story;

Before Vice entered the Headquarters within the mind, he needed to do a little bit of rearranging of the universe he is in, or more appropriately, terraforming the land of Long Term Memory into his domain.Β

First, however, he needed to deceive the emotions into a false sense of security. The Subconsious Parasite does this by creating a synthetic holograph of the world as they recognize it through the windows of the Headquarters. His deception pays off as the emotions can no longer tell what will happen in the world outside their control room.

Second, Vice destroys the gates to the Subconsious Prison that has kept the nightmares Riley had and they are set loose upon Dream Productions. This tampering with the dreams begins to take effect on the emotions as they try to understand what's going on, even trying to make contact with the Mind Workers, only for Vice to mimic their appearance and voice and tell them they are simply having Technical Difficulties. Vice then assembles his army to rise from the shadowy depths of the Memory Dump and harvest the population of Mind Workers fleeing from the chaos and nightmares.

Third, Vice targets the Long Term Memory and unleashes his most devastating assault, the Black Flames of Shadow. Every single memory orb of Joy is destroyed while the negative memories are contaminated and become an infection to Riley's Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness, breaking their moral and becoming even easier to manipulate.

With the first three phases of his plan a success, Vice then executes the fourth phase of his plan which is to disguise as an old imaginary friend and infiltrate into the Headquarters of its weakened and naive owners to conquer the last remnant of the mind.

I like Vice's character. I love characters that can be manipulative, especially in the way that Vice here does it.

Thank you so much! Since the definition ofΒ vice is said to be something that needed to be driven out in the Middle Ages, it made sense for me to have Vice be a controller of the mind.

Once again, absolutely not! And once again, you already stole my OC before you even asked. You really are that foolish.

Huh, that's really interesting!

I take it you like history to an extent? I love world history and I thought that your reference to the Middle Age term and your Richard the Lionheart-like character were telling of that.

Thanks, I enjoy history a lot, particularly the Middle Ages since a lot of my inspiration to Peccatori comes from that and it helped me describe my version of Richard the Lionheart.

Wow i love how manipulative Vice can be! Great job i particularly enjoyed reading the story, thanks to it i understood how clever and subtle Vice's plan is: first creating a false sense of security, second unleashing all Riley's nightmate in order to contaminate her emotions during dreams, third destroying memory orbs of Joy by using Blck Flames of Shadow (i image them as balck with bright purple and blue flares) and fourth infiltrating into the HQ as old imaginary friend to conquer the mind. As for the drawing i liked the background and Vice's expression, so menancing and destructive.

Thank you so much! I haven't been drawing Vice quite as much these days and I thought it would be a good time to show what his shadowy fire is like as well as write down how he strategized his plans.

You are welcome. Like i told many times i like reading your stories because they often speak more than simple drawgins in fact i think your draws are like icing on the cake when the real substance is the description under it and thank you for showing his shadowy fire, i wasn't aware of its appearance.

Glad you enjoy it like that since I don't like the idea of simply leaving the description blank yet as much as I enjoy writing stories, I prefer not to forget about adding a post as the cover.

Excellent Post of Vice! His plan was a fun read, his clever deceptions and turning the mind world into his own hellish domain are really fun and creative. I like the idea of him destroying all the happy memories and infecting the negative memories in order to break the moral of the negative emotions. The drawing itself is great, I love how eerie yet powerful his black, ghostly flames look, a lot of atmosphere is present.

I'm so glad you enjoy the story as well as the drawing and it was fun writing about how Vice would strategize on his evil plots to get what he wants.

I must say, Vice is quite the mastermind! He lures the emotions into a false sense of security while he destroys everything around them.

I like the idea of black shadowy flames.
