The next one for tonight is Trini Kwan, The Original Yellow Ranger. I had heard in the original Sentai series that the Yellow Ranger was a man, hence why the Pink Ranger has a skirt while Yellow does not on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I had also heard that the show was accused of racism by having Vietnamese actress Thuy Trang portray the Yellow Ranger while African-American actor Walter Jones played Zack Taylor the Black Ranger, which is why they reversed ethnic groups with their successors. I have seen clips of Miss Trang in one of her movies, The Crow: City of Angels. She was not like Trini at all, playing an evil ninjitsu thug who had no problem killing children just because they saw too much. Shows you how much potential she had in the world of acting.

Sadly, Trang never got the chance to be a great actress in her own right, as she was tragically killed in a car accident in 2001, age 27. Pretty much all of her co-stars from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers got to pay their respects at her funeral.
