Hey everyone! I’m still working on the next comic page but wanted to have something to share for Mystery Dungeon Day. This sketch is what I was able to make over the past weekend.

The idea here is that this is how Merry first spotted Fynn. She was already on her way to Farris’ Guild in hopes of joining when seeing a riolu in a beach alcove. Even from afar she could see that he was wet, shivering, and alone.

Feeling that he might need someone to talk to she made her way over to where he was to offer aid.

(not too mention, seeing a pokemon looking alone, confused, and out of place struck WAY too familiar to many of the stories she’d read on involving former-humans. As that topic was one of her greatest fascinations, she had to find out if he was one!)
