Thank you so much.
I've watched it only once but it instantly became one of my favourites. Nat's acting, even at this young age, is gorgeous.
And I have a soft spot for Jean Reno, so how could I not find him adorable.

So, jetzt bin ich aber spät dran.
Freut mich sehr, dass ich dich mit dem Bild begeistern konnte. Für mich war es auch 'ne tolle Übung, da ich mich mal mit einer begrenzten Farbpallette befassen wollte und siehe da - es sieht wirklich gut aus.
Hehe... da sind wir mit dem Besserwerden schon zwei. Ich brauche allerdings immer ewig, um bei mir selber Fortschritte zu bemerken, da sie in so kleinen Schritten kommen.
Ging mir ähnlich. Sonst kennt den in unserem Alter scheinbar kaum jemadn, oder wir kennen eben nicht die richtigen Leute. Gut, dass sich das geändert hat.

Oh, danke. Wenn ich mal ein Gelüstchen verspüre, melde ich mich. An sich finde ich es ja einfacher, für andere ein Bild zu malen - wenn ich dann selber dran bin, kann ich mich immer nicht entscheiden und das Ganze läuft dann auf ein "lass dir was einfallen" hinaus. XI
Jedenfalls komme ich darauf zurück. Wart's nur ab.

Nein das schlimme bei mir ist, dass ich immer Bilder beginne aber nicht beende... wenn ich es für jemanden sonst mache geht das eigentlich gut...meistens wenn ich Zeit und Lust habe.

I've recently rewatched it in the director's version and realised how much I adore Jean Reno. He is so lovely, pretending to be the cold-hearted cleaner and then having not only this soft spot for his plant, but for the little one, too.

I really loved it. It was done so tastefully, considering the subject matter and where it could have gone with it. It was really refreshingly innocent and this is a beautiful picture.

Jean Reno was adorable in this film, I very much agree.
