Remember this sketch I did about half a year ago? (Please read the description there, in case you don't remember the story behind it...)
Well, I said I might make a real deviation out of it some time... I've been working on it on and off, and now it's finally finished! I really wanted to get it done before I start with my comic, and I also wanted to finish it by tomorrow (August 8th, 2021), because there'll be a new moon with the Sun and the Moon in the zodiac sign Leo - which is the complete opposite of the new moon in Aquarius we had in the scene shown here.
Ha, ha, I only noticed afterwards that the dots on The Sun King's robe were done wrong - but I guess that's because of the "crazy constellation"... It does kinda look like he rolled up the sleeves and the collar, so it could look like that, without changing anything on the robe...
I know, it didn't turn out perfect, some proportions are probably completely off, but I really did my best at redrawing, refining and coloring this lineart. I also wasn't sure about the lighting, I still haven't decided where exactly they are in this scene, but I felt it might be rather dark, or at least with some twilight. And I'm really sorry about the watermarks, too, but I'm really protective of my OC's...
Please be aware that my comic will not look like this in style, but more like my character sheets, because I won't have the time or energy to redraw my hand-drawn lineart, like I did here. Anyways, I hope you like it.
