- Personality: Kind, considerate, not one to judge people, usually thinks before she acts/speaks, not a big fan of being the center of attention, has a habit of finding stuff so stupid, that it's funny, appreciates the little things in life, she'll be sarcastic and even more outgoing with the people she knows and cares about. All in all, she has quite a warm and open personality.
- History: Kasumi's life was nothing exciting, pretty boring, actually. Her father was a Yorozuya, and she didn't see him much. So her family made the best of it with the time they all had together. Even so, Kasumi grew closer with her mother than her dad. She learned many things from her mom over the years, which included making tea for her father when he came home. She also learned to use certain herbs in the tea to help regain strength. She always wondered how something so small could make him better.
When she was 13, her father died to what seemed to be members of the Tiger clan. Her took a job with a lot of money, hoping they'd have the patience to wait, but it seems not. He already finished the job, so they took what he had. They haven't bothered Kasumi or her mother since.
As Kasumi got older, she grew to resent the Tiger clan, but never feared them like the others. She believed on the inside they were weak, and anyone horrible enough to terrorize so many people like this don't deserve life. She hid her anger and learned to move on, being supportive of others terrorized by the clan. She later got a job at the tea shop, as a reminder to her of her father. Not to make her cry, but in a good way. To remember he was a strong man, and the Tiger clan were the true cowards.

As said in her personality, Kasumi is more open around Kisame. She'll joke and use sarcasm sometimes. She finds Kisame quite comforting. She'll playfully push him away at times, due to some things he might say.
Kisame's glad that Kasumi doesn't judge him for his appearance and loves him for who he is. It seems almost rare to see him frown around her. He feels that Kasumi's gentle and caring aura is a good thing for him.
Together the two are close and care for each other deeply. Sometimes Kisame can be a little more passionate than he should in public, which can leave things awkward, with friends or not.
