the sputniks are definitely a favorite with every rat i've met. Β i used to hang it up, but i don't like that i cant reach in and grab a rat because the opening is too small, so i like to be able to take it out easily.

I used to use a hammock but since thos retain stinky even after washing I got that ting, but I guess after having a hammock for so long the girls decided they only like hanging things XD
I can't even grab them from inside if if it were grounded because they packed it with so much newsprint for nesting

I already got rid of the old thing
I washed them by hand (with white vinegar) cuz we don't have enough animl/dirty linen to do a fill wash with and I wouldnt wanna mix it with regular laundry
BUT they seem to like this better anyways, and easier to clean

RIGHT i almost cried when i saw him doing that lol
he's doing so much better!! Β he still hides when he's eating and gets spooked really easily by sudden or mildly loud noises, like just if i start talking with a 'harsh' sound as the first letter and he skitters behind the litterbox again but he usually only takes a couple seconds to creepy back out again.. Β so he's definitely making progress!!

he's actually not as big as his blood brother on the left, but he comes out more on a routine basis so he always looks bigger in pictures since he doesn't hide x'D
