Description Lormkan was definitely not a pleasant creature to be around. It wasn't that he was cruel or evil in his actions or mannerisms; he was just mean and depressing. Then again, when it's your job to take care of lost spirits and souls, as well as ones that should not see the light of day again, you would probably be quite mean and depressing as well.

Lormkan's corpreal energy, like Geamerg's, was based off of the energy present in spirits and souls. Unlike Geamerg, however, the souls and spirits that Lormkan was entrusted to weren't the best you could fine. Lormkan was mainly responsible for taking care of the spirits or souls that had been bad during their time in life, and he had to usher them to a place that wasn't very nice. None of us ever got to see this world, but Lormkan didn't like going there; if he didn't like it, I doubt that anyone ever would. However, he was also in charge of taking care of what were known to us as "the lost ones" . These were spirits or souls that could not be taken from the world they lived in. This commonly occurs when an individual dies, but is not ready to leave; they become tethered to part of their world, and become a permenant fixture on it. Although the tether can be broken, it rarely happens. Lormkan, in a way, was the ultimate caregiver in what humans refer to as the world of the 'aranormal' , and it was his job to keep an eye on the spirits and ghosts (lost souls) that wandered across worlds.

The depressing job worked for him perfectly. Like the subjects he looked over, he was cold, mean, and quite depressing to be around. I could be in an unending state of Joy, and it would only take 5 minutes with him to be in a state of unending Sorrow; he was THAT depressing. I don't think that it was his job that made him so; I personally think that he was always miserable. All he ever talked about was his job, and how depressing it was...it got boring really quickly........

Like Altruid, Lormkan was one of several members who simply faded away and disappeared, but his duties continue to be done in his absence. He must have destabilized himself and scattered himself across the Multiverse in order to perform his job more efficiently, but I have another theory. When Geamerg was destroyed, Lormkan became much more depressing and mean than he usually was. I think that Lormkan secretly liked Geamerg a whole lot, and I think that he destabilized himself so that he could exist in the same state as her. Perhaps he thought that it would bring him closer to her again...but since he is no longer alive, I can only speculate...and hope that he found what he was looking for. There is no worse fate then destroying yourself for a purpose, only to find out that it was all for naught....
